Last time I wore a Jacket and Tie

In the late 80s, at work I was asked to stop wearing a suit and tie.  It seemed to be a code for “you are not a real engineer”. In the Ottawa High-Tech community, you saw this simple-casual trend move up the ranks, and suits where usually worn for portraits, funerals or by politicans and executive sales-staff.  To this, I no longer have a suit or jacket (that fits) and believe the last time I wore a suit and tie was 20 years ago, as documeted above.

I have been thinking about a jacket of recent, but the real tailors are gone.
