Crawfish for Late Summer Bass
If the summer is hot and the water is warm, it can be harder to pull the bass to the top of the water, with a muddler or popper. In this situation, a Clouser Minnow works well, but this year, I am going to try my summer crawfish, which has many similarities.

And it is impressionistic, the antenna and shape is as jst as much looks like a shrimp as it does a crawfish. If there is a fault with this pattern, I find bass in the late season tend to gently mouth the tail, and thus likely miss the hook!.
